AIGN® travels to New Zealand and Australia

August 1, 2011

AIGN® traveled to New Zealand in April of 2011 to meet with Prevar™ and its board of directors in order to continue to solidify relationships.  AIGN® directors were able to see and review many of the Prevar™ products that are now being introduced.  AIGN® is especially grateful to Prevar CEO, Dr. Brett Ennis, for his assistance in facilitating our visit.  AIGN® is extremely excited about the new products that are being introduced by the very accomplished professionals involved in the breeding program.  Also, thanks to AIGN® Executive Director, John Morton, who once again, ushered us around this beautiful country.

AIGN® then traveled to Melbourne, in New South Wales, Australia to begin its annual general meeting.  We were able to visit orchards, packing sheds, and regional experiment stations thoughout New South Wales and Tasmania.  We were also able to visit and travel with ANFIC (AIGN®’s Australian member).  AIGN® was extremely appreciative of the hospitality provided by ANFIC and would like to thank Dr. Gavin Porter, CEO of AIGN®, for taking the time and effort to put together such a wonderful trip.
